2012 Nissan Quest van part review
Quest Though it's not due to hit Nissan dealers near you until the end of 2012, the 2012 Nissan Quest already is drawing quite a bit of attention. The Quest is essentially a long wheelbase minivan, based on the same platform as the award-winning 2012 Altima for a performance-packed ride that is most similar to that of a sport car. At the heart of the 2012 Nissan Quest van is, of course, a powerful engine. This engine is a 3.5-liter, DOHC, 24-valve, V-6 that delivers more than 230 horsepower and award-winning VQ technology. The car also boasts a five- or four-speed automatic transmission, depending on which technology you prefer. There's power-assisted rack and pinion steering, and a Traction Control System with available Vehicle Dynamic Control. If these technologies aren't enough for you, other 2012 Nissan Quest parts include independent multi-link rear suspension and strut front suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars that provide superior handling and increased ride comfort. There's even standard four-wheel vented disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System, Brake Assist and Electronic Brake force Distribution. The Quest is both stylish and comfortable as well. On the outside, Quest offers arching lines, a modern and architectural front grille, speed-sensitive variable intermittent windshield wipers, and available "puddle lamps" mounted on underside of outside mirrors. 2012 Nissan Quest parts also include available 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, as opposed to the 16-inch wheels that come standard. On the inside, the vehicle boasts available dual-zone automatic temperature control for driver and front passenger, available 8-way power driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support, four 12-volt power points, and available power operated sliding doors and liftgate. There's a second row of Captain's Chairs with flat-folding features, and a third row bench seat.

Thanks to improvements in Nissan technology, Quest includes the latest in safety protection, including the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System applied to dual-stage front air bags and occupant detection system, supplemental roof mounted side-impact curtain air bags for front and rear seat, three-point seat belts and height adjustable head restraints for all seating positions, and a zone body with front and rear crushable zones help reduce impact energy transmitted to the occupant zone. An available rear sonar system also alerts driver of possible obstacles while moving in reverse - this is a Quest part that is second to none.
